The Problem With Seams
Hey my peeps! Remember that sweater I SWORE I was going to finish? (Yes, I'm going to go ahead and pretend that I've been posting regularly. Join me in my beautiful imaginary world.) Well, I haven't finished it. Why?
Because I don't want to sew up the seams. I'm not afraid to sew up the seams. I've screwed up plenty of seams and it's never bothered me enough to stop. No. I don't want to sew up the seams because it's not fun. So, I hereby dub myself the weanie knitter.
So, I finished a different sweater instead. I'd already screwed up the seams on this sweater and all I had left to do was embroider roses on it. I embroidered about 4 roses when I looked at the sweater and realized the roses bore a striking resemblence to bird droppings. Brilliant! So I decided to stick with something I know: straight stitches and lazy daisy stitches. I am suitably pleased with the results.
And now, the customary pictures of Katherine. She is now 7 months old and is working on crawling. She has recently started saying "mamamamamama" and "hubba hubba." I'm not sure where that last one came from. She has also developed a love for yarn. I couldn't be more proud.
