UFOs
Knitting Daily (an online knitting community from Interweave Knits) is currently running a UFOs poll. It's pretty simple: How many UFOs do you currently have? I tried to calculate the number in my head and realized I would probably have to go count if I wanted to be totally accurate. Then I saw the actual poll. The choices are the numbers 1-20 and "more than 20." No counting needed.

That does seem kind of silly, doesn't it? Where's the honesty? Where's the committment to excellence? Seriously.
I don't think you can be a real knitter if you don't have more than 20 UFOs.
So the knitting community is connected to the whole X-Files scene, huh? I had no idea.
Obviously I have no clue what a UFO refers to in this context. But rather than find out I prefer to imagine you and Brooke knitting and attempting to contact aliens.
If you stick the knitting needles in your hair, you get much better reception on your alien-contacting devices.
I demand a new post. Immediately.
