Birthdays!
Today we celebrate two momentous birthdays!
First, Katherine is 1 year-old today! She has no idea but we're all kinds of excited. I'm making her a birthday cake, she has presents piled on the piano (only one is from us) and I keep wishing her a happy birthday.
It's been quite an exciting year. She's started "talking" recently. She says ma, da (dad), da (dog), nana (banana), ay-oh (hello), wow, and yeah. Of course, these "words" might just be wishful thinking on my part. She takes steps occassionally, but mostly she motors around the house by pushing her bike.
Happy Birthday Katherine! We love you!
And secondly, our very own druken monkey was also born on this day, many, many years ago. I miss you so very very much and you will get a birthday present, it'll just be a little late. Sorry.
I'm going to have to finish this later. One of the birthday girls is screaming at me. I'll let you guess which one.
